Problem W/ GLBP and nat address.

Lost & Found

Level 2

Hi,

I have encountered problems with GLBP.

1. GLBP is not acting as Active/Active.

R1(ISP1)

glbp 1 ip 10.1.1.1
glbp 1 priority 105
glbp 1 preempt
glbp 1 load-balancing host-dependent
glbp 1 weighting track 1 decrement 100

track 1 interface GigabitEthernet0/1 line-protocol

R2(ISP2)

 glbp 1 ip 10.1.1.1
 glbp 1 load-balancing host-dependent
 glbp 1 weighting track 1 decrement 100

track 1 interface GigabitEthernet0/1 line-protocol

When I ping the internet I always use R1 way. When I shutdown the g0/1 of r1 it's not switch to R2. (Please see the attached file SHOW GLBP)

My Goal is to Use both ISP ACtive/Active, LAN 1 to ISP1 and Lan2 to ISP2.

Or maybe because Firewall act as 1 client mac only?

-------------------------------

2. Nat Address on Firewall can't access the internet. User from out can't access the server

Before It was Firewall (out int) .1------->111.1.1.0------> .2(in int) ISP.

Since the IP address of firewall outside interface has been change to 10.1.1.1 because of GLBP. Natted address can't access the internet.

So I remove the NAT from the firewall configuration and now it's working but since the translation is disabled user from outside can not access it also vpn client users.

Or because ISP2 is not active since ISP2 handle's all the public address?

Any idea with this problems?

Thanks
