Problem with the new T1/E1 boards?

Hi,

I just tried my first new T1 board (2CE1-T1-P with the RJ45 ports). I installed the board as before and then boot the router, the router seems to see the board and reports 2 T1/E1 ports. Good.

But nothing in the 'show run' : no controller, no nothing...How will I configure it then ?

Any help is appreciated!

It depends, do you want a T1 or a E1?

In global configuration mode just write "card type E1 0" if you want a E1 controller, and the card is in slot 0.

Thanks, problem fixed! Strange I did not find about it any place...or is it me?

:)

As anything else on www.Cisco.com, you need to where to look.

Here is a complete guide on configuring the card.
