Question about snmp configuration

・IOS 12.2(44)SE1

When "snmp-server community private RW" is set,

" snmp-server user private private v1 " and

" snmp-server user private private v2c "

is inserted without permission. Is this bug ??

I think that as soon as you add the "snmp-server" statement it enables the SNMP agent, adding those two other statements.

Cisco is trying to make the switch as manageable as possible with minimal manual configuration.
