I was setting the EthernetChannel(LACP) of Cat6k(VSS) and ASR1001X.
loadbalancing mode is "src-dst-ip".
I want to evenly flow of traffic, but they've shifted to one side.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6500-vss#show interface port-channel etherchannel
Group: 201
----------
Port-channels in the group:
----------------------
Port-channel: Po201 (Primary Aggregator)
------------
Age of the Port-channel = 296d:17h:07m:42s
Logical slot/port = 46/7 Number of ports = 2
HotStandBy port = null
Port state = Port-channel Ag-Inuse
Protocol = LACP
Port security = Disabled
Fast-switchover = disabled
Load share deferral = disabled
Ports in the Port-channel:
Index Load Port EC state No of bits
------+------+------------+------------------+-----------
0 FF Gi1/2/1 Active 8
1 FF Gi2/2/1 Active 8
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
①Why load value is "FF" ?
②Is it possible to load balancing even load value is "FF" ?
Please tell me.

Hi try this instead it works for me on our VSS ---port-channel load-balance src-dst-port
"More powerful platforms can match against IP address(es) or layer four port(s). Generally speaking, higher layer fields are more favorable as they tend to be more dynamic, resulting in a more granular distribution of traffic across member links"

BTW, VSS has a built-in bias not to use the cross links between VSS peers. So, you may find, between the VSS pair, unequal load balancing out an Etherchannel unless the traffic to that Etherchannel is already balanced across the VSS pair.
