I am trying to upgrade the firmware of SLM224P from 1.0 to 2.0 but it is not possible. I am getting the following error:

0
Copy failed
Copy: Illegal software format

Here is some system info:

SF 200-24P 24-Port 10/100 PoE Smart Switch

SLM224PT V01

I downloaded the firmware from this link: http://www.cisco.com/cisco/software/release.html?mdfid=282414086&softwareid=282463182&release=2.0.0.10&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest&i=rm

What am I doing wrong?

Hello,

I'm having the same issue your did when trying to upgade the firmware on my switches.  Did you ever get a response from Cisco?

Thanks,

Mike

Yes,

their web page for SLM224P points to another firmware, incompatible with this switch.

The correct page is this (Search for SF200-24P):

http://www.cisco.com/cisco/software/release.html?mdfid=283773418&flowid=24306&softwareid=282463182&release=1.1.1.8&rellifecycle=&relind=AVAILABLE&reltype=latest

Hi,

Did you get the firmware?

I need SLM224g firmware 2.0.0.10 or 1.0.x.

I don't know if the SLM224P firmware fits the SLM224G.

But I would like to try the upgrade!

Can you make the firmware available?
