Real world ENET WIC speed

So can I get full throughput out of an ENET WIC or can I expect the 50-60% throughput you get out of a NIC? ie: Is it realistic to use a 10Mbit ENET WIC for a 10Mb Metro-Ethernet link? Will I be able to get the full 10Mb? On a PC, I'd use a 100Mb NIC if I had a full 10Mb connection knowing I couldn't get all 10 if I didn't. I've got a 1720 in place on a T1 connection getting ready to move to 10Mb Metro-E and can't use an FA or GE WIC in that model.

1720 cannot support 10 Mb/s. Get a current generation router.
