Hi,http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc1812#section-4.3.2.4

If I'm not wrong it indicates that your router is multihomed to two routers. And your router is load-balancing these two routers. The router with IP 10.255.232.42 is also multihomed. Can you show you network diagram?

According to RFC1812:

IP source address in an ICMP message originated by the router MUST be one of the IP
addresses associated with the physical interface over which the ICMP message is
transmitted.

Hope it will help.

Best regards,
Abzal
