Regex ".*" and AS number at show ip bgp

Hi all.

I'd like to know what it is means regarding regex ' .* ' . To make sure, I wanna do cross-check.

and If I know the specific AS number when I type down as show ip bgp. How can I find out the management ip address of that AS number?

The regular expression (.*) means ( any )

However, I am not sure what u exactly means by management IP Address of the neighbor? Could you clarify more..

.* means match anything so that will match any AS PATH in the BGP update.

Not sure what you mean with your 2nd question -

sh ip bgp summary  - will show the BGP neighbor IP address

sh ip bgp neighbor - will show the peer BGP router-id
