Replacing BGP Router

Morning everyone,

We have a Cisco ISR2921 running BGP for our public subnet with 2 ISPs attached to it.  We are planning to replace with device with a new C9300.  I have copied all the bgp config and routes over and setup the interface in the same manner.  Is there anything special i need to do at cutover? Or should i be able to just move teh ISPs connections over to the new one and have it be good?

I can post a config if desired.

Thanks

Assuming all the config went over without any kick outs, I think you will be fine. You may ask your ISP if they would expect any problems swapping out equipment, I ran into a case once with a carrier using some form of mac security that prevented my new router from coming up because of the new mac address on the port. They had my previous router's mac hardcoded, so they had to change that before it would work.

I always like to leave myself an easy out if something doesn't go according to plan, should be as simple as moving cables back the old router in your case.
