Hi,

Need your help for giving route.

We are having one router where the Fastethernet is configured with 10.160.16.254 255.255.255.0

Now Iam connecting another router to the switch and given pool ip.While giving route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.160.16.254 it is not accepting.

pls suggest wht can be done.

what error are u getting..

I think the command is not correct

its "ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.160.16.254"

What I gather is this.

You have a LAN connected to FastEthernet with IP 10.160.16.254

Traffic comes in from this interface and you are then telling your traffic to go back through the same interface it just came from?

Is there a reason you are doing that?

Where are you wanting to send the traffic from that interface?

The static route is like the traffic cop for traffic. It specifically states where to send the traffic.

Need more info, but as stated in your post it will not work.
