Router 7613 Chassis have problem with the line card

Dear all,

I have a Router 7613 Chassis when I install line card WS-ES+20G3C in router. I checked datasheet of 7600 Series is supported for this line card and I try the command " power enable module <slot> " but it show the problem as below :

On what slot its installed ? as per logs it required upgrade.

Hello @LongNT ,

the show module explains why the linecards are not accepted / supported your chassis have supervisor 3BXL youi would need sup720 3C  instead

I'm afraid there is no way to make these linecards to work on this chassis unless you change the supervisors.

Thanks for your answer. Now, I install RSP720-3BXL, I think I will have to upgrade to version C7600rsp72043 for 3BXL instead of C7600rsp72033 !

I can't replace the line card with another, do you have any other options?
