Router AUX port - Modem Line

Hello,

I have a router at a location and the router has a modem line connected to the AUX port. I have have the phone# of the modem line. They told me that I can access the router remotely through the modem. What do I need on my end to establish a connection to the router. Please note: I am offsite and I have no VPN connection.

A computer with a modem would be a good start. Terminal emulation software on the computer to use the modem to establish the connection and to enable command line operations.
