We currently have a 2811 router installed in one of our branch offices. This office currently has around 90 users, and is expected to increase to 120 users by mid-year. We currently have a 3 Mbps WAN connection and probably consume, on average, a constant 2 Mbps throughout the workday. The 2811 is currently configured with QOS, IP Inspection, NBAR is enabled, 10 Site-to-Site VPNs, Easy VPN Server, URL Filtering, and also the IOS Firewall. We've been monitoring the CPU usage and it seems to be consistently in the 60-70% range. We were considering a couple of options and wondered which might be best. Option 1: Keep the 2811 in place and install an ASA5510 to take over the firewall responsibilities. Option 2: Replace the 2811 all together with an ASA. Option 3: Replace the 2811 with a higher performance router (e.g. 2821, 2851, etc.) and configure it the same as the 2811. Thanks in advance for your help.
