Router Sizing

I am trying to spec a router that will terminate 6 T1's. It is at a remote hub office. I'm thinking about a 2821, I know I can physically terminate the lines, but I don't know if it has the horsepower to handle 6 T1s.

Hi,

The 2800 series routers are quite robust and will surely support 6 T1s.I have personally worked with 2841, that worked very well.

But it also depends on what are the other overheads you are planning to put on the router, like will be running dynamic routing protocols or simply use default route, the access-lists,PBRs ur are using etc etc.
