Routing loop question

I came across this question and I'm having trouble understanding it. "What are the steps towards isolating a dynamic routing loop in a mixed static/dynamic environment?"

I would probably start with a "show ip route ..." on each of the routers involved in the loop to see where the route is being learned/inserted from.

Once I understood what was causing the problem I would then consider the options to resolve it.
