RV340 Dual Wan Router

SBT80013

Hello,

I have a Dual WAN setup and configured in the Multi-WAN page for load balancing between the two at 50% each and it works.

However I am running into a problem in creating records in the Policy Binding Table. I am able to add a record, however the Apply button is disabled and am unable to save the configuration. The reason I need this is to route requests for specific IPs through only one of the WANs.

Tried several times including rebooting - but to no avail. If anyone has solved this - will be highly appreciated.

Firmware version is 1.0.03.20

Thanks

Hi,

In my view you should input your "Destination IP" address in the format as "203.53.8.130/32". Can you please try.

Best regards,

Antonin

Worked perfectly, the Apply button got enabled and is routing the specific IP via WAN 2

Thanks for the quick reply - attached here

Hello,

in the 'Destination IP' field, enter the subnet mask as well:

203.53.8.130/24

Thanks.

Did that - but the Apply button is still disabled.

Hello,

I am looking at the user guide:

Step 8 Click Apply.
Some service providers do not allow to ping the default gateway. Please choose a valid remote host to detect
the network connectivity or simply disable the detection. Otherwise, the traffic will not be forwarded by the
device.

Hi,

Thanks - but was held up.

The Apply button is common for the WAN load balancing / failover settings and for policy routing.

I have google.com as the remote host and I can see from the router port statistics that traffic is distributed between the WANs.

The moment I start to configure a routing policy, the Apply button gets disabled - and there is no option to save the policy.

Interesting. And really good to know, as this is not documented anywhere...
