Is there a way to have a sheduled backup get pushed from a 3845 to an off site backup server?

if you are talking about backing up the routers configuration, it's all I can think of needing back-up on a router, there is no command on the router. you can write a script for an external that copy the running or start-up to a tftp server.

What exactly are you trying to backup? Are you talking about a backup of a server or of a router? We need specifics here if we are going to be able to help.
Thanks
