Hi,
We have a router(Router 2 in picture) receiving a default route received from RIP.
And, we're planning to get new EBGP peering, which will receive another default route from the peer and the goal of the design is that we want to keep the RIP default route as the primary default and EBGP default route as secondary.
I was thinking of applying higher AD value(higher than 120) using route map to the received refault router from EBGP peer on the router. But not sure if there is another optimal way to make this.
Also, we want to make sure if Cisco Nexus 3000 series supports Set distance with Route Map.

Will check this in lab
But why you use legacy rip?

I change the distance under the bgp address family ipv4 of NSK to be
125 200 220
and it work the rip is now prefer since it have AD 120 and if failed the ebgp will use as backup

Hello
Suggest to change the seed metric of RIP and be as specific as possible so not to do a "catch all" distance statement
Example:
access-list 1 permit 0.0.0.0
router rip
distance 19 <rtr1> 0.0.0.0 1
