Hello,
I have an old Linksys switch replaced by a new SG500.
I have no VLANs and the SG500 is the same network as the telephone system.
However, the phones can not connect to the telephone system.
Do I need to adjust something in particular on the SG500 so that the phones can connect ?
Thank you

Do you have voice vlan in configuration? Does PC on same switch when you connect work fine?

Hi,
the voice vlan is the default vlan1.
- Auto Voice VLAN is disabled.
- Telephony OUI is disabled.
- Administrative Auto Smartport is disabled.
I can connect to the Switch interface with my PC.
The Voice Network is a seperate Network.
Network topology is simple: telephone system -> Switch -> Phones.
But no connection between the telephone system and the phones.
I think its a settings issue on the switch but i have no clue what setting it could be.
Thank you.

And when you connect PC to switch does your networking works? What telephony sistem you're using?
You see - with default configuration on switch and proper addressing in network (DHCP or static) your networking should work (ie PC can ping df gateway, server or whatever attached on that switch)...if you don't have voice vlans everything is very simple and there is no hidden setting on switch that you should touch...
