Small campus design to 10GB

I am looking at moving to a 10GB backbone for a small campus of about 70 switches that go in to a single modular 4510. I was looking at the Catalyst Catalyst 4500X-24-ES model and using two in the core of the network. There are three additional buildings on the backbone to connect in that I want to be 10GB as well. For those buildings I would use two Catalyst 4500X-16. Would something like this work? When I tried the switch selector, the only model that shows is the 3850 but the 4500x is still listed as a core.

Cisco has released a new series of switches:  Catalyst 9300, 9400 and 9500.

The 9300 will be the direct replacement of the 3650 & 3850.

The 9400 will be the direct replacement for the entire 4K series, including 4500X.

The 9500 will be the direct replacement for the entire 6K series, including 6500 and 6800 family of switches.

Have a look at this to ensure the network investment isn't going to waste.

Thanks Leo, I am looking at the 1u model 9300.

Thanks for taking the time to rate our post(s).  :)

Check out the pricing of the hardware and the licenses.  The marketing folks will be using this point to "encourage" people to move to this hardware.
