Smart Licensing on 1100

Hello,

 

I'm trying to register my ISR1100 device on smart account. I have generated idtoken and then inserted it to the router, but registration not happens.

 

Registration:
Status: REGISTERING - REGISTRATION IN PROGRESS
Export-Controlled Functionality: NOT ALLOWED
Initial Registration: FAILED on Mar 28 16:32:26 2022 GMT
Failure reason: Fail to send out Call Home HTTP message.
Next Registration Attempt: Mar 28 16:43:02 2022 GMT

 

How I can fix this problem?

Hi

 Do you some internal server with Cisco cloud access or does this device is try to reach the cloud by itself?

Either way this communication is failing:

"Failure reason: Fail to send out Call Home HTTP message."

Device try to reach by itself. I did it like in video.

Did you see on the video that the guy performed a test to validate device internet access?  It seems to me that your problem is related to that due the HTTP error.

Router has Internet access

what is the version of Code running,

 

Do you have a Router reachable to the internet? tools.cisco.com ?

Yes, Router has access to tools.cisco.com

check what source interface it going out, so call home config use source interface :

source-interface interface-name
