Hi,
We are expanding our office to another floor (2 floors down) in the same building.
We will be needing 8 switches on the new floor office which will connect to the existing office's switch (Catalyst 4500).
I need suggestions on the switches.The switches should be L3 stackable (managed as 1 switch).
I was thinking of Catalyst 3650 switches. What other options are out there?
Please let me know.
Also just to be clear about the physical connection between the switches on separate floors, A 10G fiber cable should run 2 floors to connect to the 4500 switch. Two fiber cables for redundancy?
