Switch3560 etc trust boundary

Hi Please see the diagram below. Switch 1 to 5 are reconfigured with trust. Making is made on Switch 1, so we do not need to do making on switch 2 - 5 if we want to Switch5 receive traffic with the same marking? thanks

Assuming you've enabled QoS, correct (at least under 12.x code). Also, if QoS not enabled, you don't need to trust (again at least under 12.x code).

Lastly, this applies to both L3 ToS and L2 CoS, but the latter requires VLAN tagging.

Yes,

the trust is made without marking configuration on Switch 2, 3 and 4.  My question is if the marking would be rewritten when traffic goes from SW1 to SW5?

L2 CoS is only found in VLAN tags, see the 802.1p field in: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.1Q.
