I cant remember if this is the case or not, but I have a customer that has a t1 to another remote site. They are adding another remote site, so my question is this: when adding another remote site, do you have to have another t1 at the main site, or does it just join in to the existing t1?

Assuming the T1's are point to point , then yes each 'site' will require it's own t1 circuit and t1 interface.
HTH and please rate.

The answer to your question depends a bit on how the T1 is provisioned. If the T1 is a Frame Relay connection then it is possible for 1 T1 at the head end or HQ site to connect to multiple remote sites. If the T1 is provisioned as a regular leased line (HDLC or PPP) then a second site requires a second T1 connection.
