HI all,
We are planning to connect to a VPLS provider for our WAN Connectivity.
The provider is asking us to tag the traffic on the interface going to the VPLS.
We are planning using EIGRP, testing phases are running OK with the subinterface being tagged.
The question is, should I used tag or untagged for the VPLS connection. Consider your answer toward us moving to VoIP next year.
Thanks

Hello,
>> The provider is asking us to tag the traffic on the interface going to the VPLS.
so tag it with a Vlan based subinterface as you have already done in tests
Having a tag provide a way to carry 802.1p CoS so it is better for future VoIP deployment.
Hope to help
