Hello all,

I have Cisco router 1921.

I configured like below.

conf t

boot system flash [IOS name]

reload

Whenever I power on after upper command, continuously came up like below commands...

What was worse, I cannot enter rommon mode even though I input "Pause Break"..

How can I deal with this problem?

Please tell me advice.

Regards,

SK.

Someone may have incorrectly configured TFTP boot.

In ROMmon, post the complete output to the command "set".

Yes right, my junior staff configured by mistake.

What was worse, I cannot enter ROMMON mode... ㅠ_ㅠ

In this case, what should I do?

Thanks.

What was worse, I cannot enter ROMMON mode

Pffft.  Why NOT?

This is an ISR G1 router, right?  A router with CF card?  If yes, then what happens if the CF is ejected and the router reboots?

No CF card...

The device I have is cisco router 1921..

The device I have is cisco router 1921..

Ok, read this: Baud Reset Button

hmmm.

I followed your link source.

But, continuously fell out... and continuously repeat again.

ha... how can I enter ROMMON mode...

The method that I enter ROMMON is press "Pause Break" right?

So what happens if the RESET BAUD button is held down for >30 seconds?

Ah, Leo!

I solved the problem.

I press "Ctrl+C" instead of "Break".

AND Following your link, I pressed Baud button when power on. FAILED.

even though I pressed over 30 seconds.

which serial console client you were using while accessing the routers?

Cisco console + RS-232

I used them!

meaning - the boot has failed and if you are not able to enter the ROMmon mode ( try to console) if that does not work - the last resort is to raise a TAC with Cisco

I entered ROMMON mode by pressing "Ctrl+C" yesterday.

Thanks^^
