Tips to change circuit router

Hi,

I'm planning to change the Internet circuit router soon.

This is going to be the first time to do this all by myself :)

I will very appreciate if you can tell me the steps to change the router.

I don't think it is enough just to copy old config and paste it to new router...

Can you please tell me what I have to do before and after?

Can you tell us what you currently have and what you will replace it with?

is it just a hardware swap?  so no change in for instance IP addresses?

when you answer this, we will be able to tell you if you can copy/paste your existing config onto the new router
