Tool for configuring multiple routers based on a template

I frequently roll out networks which have multiple sites that are identical except for variables like IP address, passwords and hostnames. Is anyone aware of a tool where you can customise a template and generate multiple configurations in txt format ready to distribute to people/devices. Up until now I have been using excel but I am looking for something that may offer more features. Note I am not after management software, only template to configuration generator to save time on copying and pasting, and to reduce the error of data imput on large volume rollouts.

I think you already are using the best tools, it is just a matter of streamlining your copy and pasting.

I personally use text documents and use a "template" which is just a test doc. I copy and paste.

I don't know of a way that works more accurately and fast as what you are doing today.
