Hi. Our ISP (Pipex) has given us a single public IP address with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.255, and we're trying to set it on dialer 0.
Dialer0 is complaining about the subnet mask, is there any way around that?
Thanks

I am not sure what the issue is. Could you post a cut and paste of your attempt to configure the address on the dialer interface and the exact error that the router gives? This might give us better insight into the issue.

try putting ' ip address negotiated '
then let ppp come up. follow that by show ip int brief.

I think its OK now guys. Pipex have said that if I set my router to DHCP (using the ip address neg command) I should go and grab the same IP address from them each time.
Cheers all
