Dear All,
I cannot eliminate the lines vty in my Cisco 7609 router
when I write show users, I obtain the following thing:
ROUTER-7609#show users
Line User Host(s) Idle Location
1 vty 0 suppot-oi idle 4w4d 10.172.2.25
2 vty 1 suport-oi idle 2d23h 10.172.2.23
3 vty 2 support-oi idle 02:01:24 10.172.2.23
4 vty 3 support-oi idle 2d19h 10.172.2.23
* 5 vty 4 support-oi idle 00:00:01 10.172.2.15
I try to erase it of the following way but I cannot:
ROUTER-7609#clear line vty 0
[confirm]y [OK]
the stranger, is that he says to me that has been ok, but when I make
"show users" again , it appears again.
ROUTER-7609#show users
Line User Host(s) Idle Location
1 vty 0 suppot-oi idle 4w4d 10.172.2.25
2 vty 1 suport-oi idle 2d23h 10.172.2.23
3 vty 2 support-oi idle 02:01:24 10.172.2.23
4 vty 3 support-oi idle 2d19h 10.172.2.23
* 5 vty 4 support-oi idle 00:00:01 10.172.2.15
Why it happen ?

Seems the session is hung
Clear tcp tcb
Otherwie you need to do SUP-switchover if you have redundant SUPs or reload of the router
Could you paste the following output
Show tcp vty 0
Thank you

you can also try:
Router# clear line 1
This will clear line 1 in your output which is VTY 0
