unable to establish LDP session via EIGRP via L2 broadcast switch

Hi Everyone,

I would like to seek some advice from the community as to why I am unable to establish an LDP neighbour relationship via EIGRP using a basic Layer 2 switch as a means to have make my routers to connect with each other. This is not a actual deployment and I am just trying this out on the lab to understand the technology.

In the attached diagram, I have establish neighbour relationship on the three routers via the basic L2 switch. All the Loopbacks are reachable to each other. The MPLS label protocol are configured to be LDP across all the routers and the Loopback 0 are the router id for LDP.

I am trying to check the status via "show mpls Ldp discovery" and it shows that the loopback is being used but for reason I do not understand only shows "xmit" contrary to what I am seeing to LDP neighbours on a point to point link "xmit\rceive"

Hope you can help me guys!

Thank you very much in advance

The configuration from the image you posted looks good. Could you please include a .zip file including the below outputs of the 3 Routers?

- show running-config

- show version

- show ip cef

- show ip eigrp interface

- show ip eigrp neighbor

- show mpls ldp discovery

- show mpls ldp neighbor
