I have two routers, R6 and R7. I aggregated routes to R6 and used a suppress map to stop 172.20.1.0 and 172.20.4.0 from being advertised. It worked. I then configured an unsuppress map to advertise those two routes to R6. However, it has been unsuccessful. (this is a learning exercise)

Ok, I have mostly identified my problem. I have my unsuppress map configured for neighbor 172.26.1.1, R6's Lo0. However, R6 and R7 are peered through the physical interface. When I assign the unsuppress map to the physical interface, the routes are seen on R6. If I remove 10.7.1.2 (R6 physical int) as a neighbor, R7 is no longer peered with R6. Shouldn't I be able to peer between loopback interfaces? I do have static routes configured for the loopbacks.

ebgp LO
1- use disable direct check if
both or one Peer using LO BUT there are no Hops inbetween
2- use ebgp multihop
A- both or one Peer using LO and there are Hops inbetween
For Supp and unSupp map I check and you can use both command but with careful
or you can use as I mention before summary-only with unsupp map for specific Peer or Group of Peers
