Hi To all

Scenario:

I have two central routers with multible remote branches(The HQ site conencted with the remote sites over metro ethernet )

In the HQ routers i have two isdn PRI

Now i want when the wan in the remote branches goes down the the remote branch will send the data over the PSTN (We have in the remote branches analog line)

Hi, This is classic ISDN dial and involves configuring a dialler watch list.

I suggest reaching our on the R&S forum -> netpro/network-infrastructure/routing

That is not a god idea, because modem is too slow for backup.

A better option is to have bakcup over VPN.

Hi Paolo

What do you mean a vpn for backup

If the wan lost(metro ethernet connection) then i want the remote site to communicate with the central site throught PSTN

Do you have something to propose?

Answered above: backup using VPN over Internet.
