Hi

Is it possible to have Cisco recommended cable with RJ 45 connector at one end and other end with V.35 connection type.

Regards

No, you can do RS-232, DB25 to RJ45, but not V35.

The 8 conductors available with RJ45 won't handle V35. The V35 standard requires 2 leads each for TX data, RX data, TX clock, and RX clock. Control leads like RTS,CTS,DCD,DTR, and DSR require a single lead. And you'll need a chassis ground lead.

Thanks David, useful info.
