Please kindly assist advise, i wish to monitor bandwidth usage per vlan, on my switch. I dont seem to be getting OID's for vlans.
Is there a way i can do this as snmp is not able to differentiate traffic per vlan.

what is it exactly that you want to monitor? the in/out traffic on a certain SVI?
like for example interface vlan 10?
SNMP should do this.
cheers

OK, but do you want the IN/OUT on the interface vlan X?

yes, i want read input and output octets using snmp and then using a script calculate the in/out traffic, producing graphs on nagios. i have tried with snmp , i dont seem to be getting vlan OIDs.

Hi
I have already done this for physical interfaces on the switch ,now i want to do so for vlans. snmp doesnt seem to have a way to differentiate vlan traffic and separate it. If there was an OID for a vlan , it would be easier to read the in/out octets. The links you gave me explain what i have done already.
Regards

It's not possible to get information about transit vlans on this platform. You can only get values for Physical / SVI / Port-Channel interfaces.
