Hi,
A dummy question I am sure. Kindness appreciated.
A client has been having difficulty in channelized T1 going from 6 to 12 B channels. Their interface is serial connected to a CSU. If the encapsulation remains the same are there any configuration changes needed to the router?
Thanks for any helop in advance.

Jim,
There are two main things that you have to take care:
1. T1 controller settings has to be same both at the HO router and BO routers. Make sure that the controllers setting are exactly the same and as per the ISP info like Framing and line coding.
2. Make sure that the encap and the oher ip address related configuration is same at both the ends.

If there is an external CSU/DSU are there any controller settings on the router? The CSU/DSU sets up the channels and clocking, correct? Are their any channel specific configs at the router acting as DTE?
