Watchdog reset

The following message on one of our 2911 edge routers: %ESWGE_ERR-3-FPGA_ERROR: NIOS Watchdog reset on 0/3/0 ehwic slot.

I have performed several searches and I find a lot on Watchdog timers but almost nothing on Watchdog resets. Can anyone tell me what the error means?

I researched a bit no this issue. These kind of errors indicate a hardware issue on the HWIC card itself. You need to replace your EHWIC card.
