Can anyone describe what a stub link means in OSPF terminology? I know what a stub area is but never heard the term stub link?

Never heard of stub link. There a however virtual link.

Reza, Thanks for responding. Same here, I know about virtual link as you mentioned but not stub link. They probably meant the leaf links to the routers in a stub area. I am just guessing..

I think you are talking about the information provided by the OSPF database related to the LSA network, you will see network like transit or stub network link.
