Found some old antique 5505 and 5510 (NOT X) running 8.2.5.
What is the upgrade path in 2024?
Back in 2014 it was going to an 8.4.x code then up to a 9.x.x level of code.

Latest you can go upto 9.0.4 (but i see some forum different version - i do not see them download- may need to contact if you looking that version of code)
check the upgrade path and planning :

Note : there are lot of things changed from 8.4 to 9.X so some of the command and config may not work as expected.
so every upgrade step, check all working as expected and each upgrade take backup of the config to be safe.

- In general , you need to check the Release Notes for any version you want to install which will usually also contains sections related to upgrade dependencies w.r.t previous versions ,
