whenever we do the new configuration in cisco switch .will it start working or do we need to write the memory of cisco switch after configuration

It will totally start working as the running configuration! Saving the configuration (write memory) will save it to the NVRAM to be the start-up configuration when the device goes through a reboot totally!

The original post asks 2 questions:
1) "will it start working" Yes as soon as the configuration commands are entered they will start working.
2) "do we need to write the memory of cisco switch after configuration" The answer to this is also yes. This is not needed for the commands to work, But it is needed so that the switch will still have the commands after the next time that it reboots.
