HI all,
I Have a 6509 router running in production environment, but I am planning to switch it to a 7604 router.
While I dont have the problem of the config between them, it seems that from a unknown reason, there is some MPLS routers that exists on the new router:
Here is the 6509 router output:
6509#show mls cef summary
Total routes: 636416
IPv4 unicast routes: 636393
IPv4 non-vrf routes: 636393
IPv4 vrf routes: 0
IPv4 Multicast routes: 4
MPLS routes: 1
IPv6 unicast routes: 14
IPv6 non-vrf routes: 14
IPv6 vrf routes: 0
IPv6 multicast routes: 3
EoM routes: 1
But on my 7604: (not in production)
7604#show mls cef summary
Total routes: 2089
IPv4 unicast routes: 29
IPv4 Multicast routes: 4
MPLS routes: 2048
IPv6 unicast routes: 8
IPv6 multicast routes: 3
EoM routes: 0
I don&t understand why there are MPLS routes while i do not intentionally use, or enabled any vrf, or MPLS functions.
How can i know how this 2048 MPLS routes comes from?
Thanks
Daniel

Hi
Have you configured MP-BGP on your router? or have you established any mpls neighbor?
show bgp vpnv4 unicast summary
show mpls ldp neighbor

Hi Julio,
Thanks, I dont think i have setup MP-BGP . I do have ISIS with BGP on the router.
Here is the result on my 7604 with the suggested commands:
7604#show bgp vpnv4 unicast summary
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
7604#show mpls ldp neighbor
7604#
Regards,
Daniel
