why there is no NAT debug message?

we have cisco 6880 switch with NAT is enabled. Last time I tried debug NAT with following two commands, and could see the debug messages. But now want to try again, but there is no debug message. Can anyone please help advise, thanks? 

1. terminal monitor
2. debug ip nat

Debug as I know is appear when traffic pass through CPU' here you have SW with tcam so it can NAT happened in HW TCAM not in CPU and hence the debug not appear.

Clear or remove and NAT and add it again and check.

what IOS code running - what sup card on the chassis ?

First check NAT have any information.

show ip nat translation
show ip nat statis

also post here show run | in NAT information if you can.
