I have a new WRT54GH and I need to configure it to work serving the address of the principal router (another Cisco router)
I can't see the option to set the WRT54GH like repeater. Really exist this function for this model?
Searching the web I found two ways to try it.
1rs -- Set a group of parameters like enable DHCP server inside same IP family (take a free range) and using Client and gateway mode (advanced routing, etc) But this WRT54GH stop traffic when I serve inside same IP family (I supose to prevent conflict)
2nd -- Crack the firmware overwriting with a alternative "generic" firmware. By doing it, the other webconsole let me configure the infrastructure mode.
Anyway, this WRT54GH is not usefull with current oem Cisco configuration.
Before proceding, is there a way, patch or mechanism to get infrastructure mode?
