1.When the switch is POSTing, I press the MODE button. At the rommon mode, I use the " format flash:" to format the flash.
2.Then I take a USB Device insert into the switch, and take "format usbflash0:" to format the USB device.
3. I copyed the "*.bin" to the USB by my PC , and then copy the IOS file to the switch.
4.After type the "boot" , a long time later , the cli common show the error log "Boot process failed".
Anyone can help me ? Thanks. My IM(Tecent QQ 443408372)
I have tested the XMODEM way to update the IOS , Failed ... ,and the same error.
I have download the *.lic file from the cisco.com , I don't know if it's related?

Nothing wrong with the SET values. As a matter of fact, you didn't have to use XModem because you could boot an IOS on a 3560X by using USB. It would've been alot quicker that way.

Anyone have the same problem? The guide in cisco.com, I have tried, failed again.

The IOS you've uploaded could be corrupt.
Download the IOS again (from the Cisco website) and compare the MD5 hash.

I have checked it , it's the right IOS.
There's the *.bin file in the flash only, is this enough for boot ?

I have tested "boot usbflash0:3750.bin" , failed either , the same error.
In cisco.com IOS download page, there are some *.tar files with the same version.
Is there any differences?

TAR files is the ZIP equivalent in UNIX. Inside a compressed TAR file is the BIN file and the HTML files.

Of course this command will fail. Firstly, the filename is wrong and secondly, you're booting a 3750 IOS from a 3560X.

Thanks leolaohoo, it's just a example.
I have solved the issues with another version IOS:c3560e-ipbasek9-mz.122-58.SE2.bin.
I don't know what's the difference between c3560e-ipbasek9-mz.122-58.SE2.bin and c3560e-universalk9-mz.150-2.SE.bin, why the c3560e-universalk9-mz.150-2.SE.bin cann't boot the system?
