i recently recruitment in startup company as network eng.
we have a conferencing platform that rent it as a SaaS to customer.
now the company what to grow up. and i need a prespective of how service provider network should be ?
we have :
1- 200 HP Servers
2- we have 12* n3k as our TOR switch, server link are 10g and uplinks are 4*40g
3- one n3k 3164 as edge switch that have 4*40g uplink to our ISP.
4- we are using vmware as a virtualization platform
our change will be :
1- add 300 more server
2-we will buy another internet link for using in active/active mode
3- we will buy AS for ourselves
4- we need to protect our network from DDOS protection up to 400g
i was working on enterprise company and their need was so different from service provider.
i have CCNA and read CVD-Campus Wired LAN Design Guide and CVD-Data Center Design Guide.
my question is : what the next level of this network would be?
is any guide that show how service provider network should observe ?
any validate design for service provide ?
