Cisco ISR 1100 router to sdwan

Looking for anyone who successfully migrated their cisco c1100 routers over to Cisco SDWan edge devices. We are considering a migration but wanted to see if there are other customers who leveraged their current router investment and converted them to sdwan rather than buy and replace.

We use isr4331 and isr1111x-8p as sdwan edges, they are sdwan ready devices

What role are your 4431s playing and are you running vManage, vBond on physical or virtual platforms? Did you have any issues with converting the Cisco 1100 routers from the traditional use to the controller based mode?. Iā€™m curious to know how many Cisco c1100 routers you converted over to controller based

we don't have any issues, isr1111x-8p placed on the 32 branches, isr4331 has the same role.  They are using for branches, isr4451-x and c8200 we use for edge in the DC. We don't use any virtual platform like c8000v. vManage / vBond / vSmart they are virtual appliances only
