Configuring MPLS as Primary and Internet as Backup in SD-WAN

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for guidance on configuring SD-WAN to prioritize MPLS as the primary transport link over the internet. I want the internet to act as a secondary/backup option only.

Additionally, I have two internet interfaces and would like to set one as the primary connection and the other as a backup. Could anyone provide insights or share best practices on how to set this up?

Thanks in advance

The simplest way to achieve this would be to set a higher TLOC preference for your MPLS color in your centralised control policy. You can find the relevant config guide here:  https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/sdwan/configuration/policies/ios-xe-17/policies-book-xe/centralized-policy.html
