I am planning to migrate my SD-WAN from vEdge platform to cEdge platform...I found following link showing steps on migration but it is targeting the physical appliances...
I also have cloud onramp with Azure currently...Does anyone know a procedure to migrate cloud onramp vEdge to cEdge, assuming vEdge and cEdge are compatible to build tunnel between?

Still looking for information regarding the edge within Azure aspect, if anyone could share insights.

Both are different - you should have different template created for vedge and cedge to cover interface and otehr information, since once is virtual other one can be physical.
its all about template. (apart from the URL you mentioned you can also look below)
https://convert2sdwan.cisco.com/docs/sdwan_conversion_tool/user_guide/vedge_cli_to_cedge_cli.html

I will convert the template from vEdge format to cEdge format. But I am a little bit concerned:
1. Will vEdge and cEdge be inter-compatible to form tunnel?
2. How to swap the vEdge with cEdge within Azure?

1. Will vEdge and cEdge be inter-compatible to form tunnel? - if i understand correctly - you can have mix environment vedge and cedge in SD-WAN environment.
2. How to swap the vEdge with cEdge within Azure? - what you need to Look what cedge device you looking to install - is this virtual ( example Cisco 8000v) - check the Azure supported devices.
You need to plan this how you swap then - You need to Build new cedge and provison using templates, either can co-exists for some time if you have different address space.

@balaji.bandi Thanks for the info!
I did check the compatibility doc available and just can not find anything showing a cEdge registered with vManage/vSmart will build tunnel to a vEdge...
My high-level plan is to "Convert the existing templates for cEdge" and then "Instantiate the cEdge appliances in Azure". During maintainence window, to "swap the vEdge with cEdge in Azure"...But I am just not sure:

yes same works - Not sure how the Tier License works - since the License need to release and onboard with new device - so calculate that time.
