Hi.
I have a C8500-12X.
But I cannot see the HSEC License.
I know that It is default in all C8500 Platform.
What should I check ?
Should I try to factory reset ?
Thank you.

Hi,
The devil is always in the details. HSEC license for this platform may come or not by default, based on how licensing was ordered; if DNA license was ordered separately, HSEC is not automatically added; this also varies per model of C8500 series; in your case, most probably you'll have to order it, activate it and authorize the box to use it; Check info here: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/cloud_edge/c8500/software-configuration-guide/c8500-software-config-guide/m-available-licenses.html#Cisco_Concept.dita_e1576a6b-933d-4021-b80a-f435835443df
Best,
Cristian.

Hello Jeonqjun,
for C8500 and C8500L you don't need HSEC license. The throughput and numbers of tunnels are not restricted by the HSEC license. Please check below:

Hi,
can you share show run all | inc license and show license summary ?
By they way, is router used in SD-WAN or autonomous (standalone) mode?

Can you put "license feature hseck9" in config mode? Or if it is SD-WAN managed router, enable it through vManage.
