Hi ,
We are using a 1100 Cisco router, which has been onboarded to SD-WAN. We are currently in the process of replacing the router due to a fault.
Could you advise the best process to execute this task?
I think the steps below may work properly
1. Detach the device from the template, despite the router is down.
2.add the baseline configs and add the router certificate to the new router .
3.Once the device is up , check the control connections and if all ok attach to the template.
please advise ?

Hi,
detach device template from the old router
invalidate device certificate
remove device from vedge-list
add new device SN (by sync with smart account or manual upload serial file)
onboard new device (check control connections)
attach device template to the new device
change device certificate state from 'stage' to 'valid' and check control/BFD
Note: if you have zscaler connections to SSAE provide, it may require to remove tunnels in advanced then proceed with above.
